Marriage

A couple wishing to be married at Holy Spirit Parish should contact the priest or deacon at least six months prior to the anticipated wedding to set a tentative date and time.  Please make these arrangements before venue and caterer contracts are signed.

At least one person for the upcoming marriage must be a registered member of Holy Spirit Parish.

Weddings may be scheduled on Friday evenings or on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. or at 1:30 p.m. in the main Church.  The Chapel of the Holy Family also is available for weddings; seating is limited to 75 persons.

Each couple must participate in the following marriage preparation programs:

Pre-Cana Day:  An engaged couple's retreat day is offered at Holy Spirit Parish, usually in April, and is available at other parishes at various times.

The "Prepare & Enrich" marriage preparation program:  The priest, deacon, or the couple's ministry team couple with whom you are working will administer the inventory and will review the findings with you.
