Confirmation for Students

Confirmation Preparation

At Holy Spirit Parish, young people typically receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in Grade 9. Preparation for Confirmation is a separate program from PSR. To be ready for this sacrament, students are expected to have at least one year of prior formal faith formation, such as completion of Grade 8 in a PSR program, a Catholic school, or a Catholic homeschool program.

The Confirmation preparation program includes monthly formation gatherings held on Sunday evenings during the school year. Registration takes place in September.
