Marriage

Couples wishing to be married at Holy Spirit Parish should contact a priest or deacon at least six months before the anticipated wedding date to set a tentative date and time. Please make these arrangements before signing contracts with venues or caterers.

At least one person preparing for marriage must be a registered member of Holy Spirit Parish.

Weddings may be scheduled on Friday evenings or on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. in the main church. The Chapel of the Holy Family is also available for weddings, though seating is limited to 75 guests.

All couples are required to participate in the following marriage preparation programs:

• Pre-Cana Day: An engaged couple’s retreat offered at Holy Spirit Parish (typically in April) or at other parishes throughout the year.
• Prepare & Enrich Program: An inventory tool administered by a priest, deacon, or marriage preparation team, followed by sessions to review the findings and grow together in preparation for the sacrament.
